Tonight I made this torte ~ layered sponge cake with Lingonberry preserves and freshly whipped sweet cream. A very nice combination of tart and sweet.
Lingonberries are a staple in Scandinavian cuisine. They are very similar in taste to our cranberries.
Oh my! I could definitely go for some of that right about now!
